Chris certainly knows his stuff regarding MX5s. He fixed my notchy gear lever. clutch and changed my transmission oil. Well pleased with the result. Thanks Chris.

Chris swapped engines in my mk3 after mine blew on a trackday. As ever he made the job seem simple. Not only is his work top class, he is one of life's genuine, nice people. In a world where you don't know who you can trust, especially the car repair world, people like Chris are refreshing. I wouldn't take my mx5 to anyone else.

Just wanted to thank Chris and Karen, just brought our first Mx5 , birthday present for my wife, they made the whole process really easy and delivered the car on time even though I lived nearly 300 miles away , as for car, we’re over the moon with it, car drives Fantastic, wish I’d brought one years ago. Purchased our first MX-5 from Chris and Karen last week, found them really easy to deal with and extremely helpful. Car was a gift for my wife’s 50th birthday and they delivered the car to me with no fuss and on time , not easy with a 300 mile trip!! As for the car my wife and I were absolutely delighted, all documentation filed, v efficient!
Now to the car

We are selling our Mazda MX5 and needed some advice on its condition and value. Karen booked us in to see Chris and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He very kindly took time out from his own work, gave the car a thorough examination,inspected the paperwork,and gave us the benefit of his considerable experience. As a result,we have just put the car up for sale on the Kent MX5 website (thanks Karen) and were able to highlight many features that will be of interest to the serious Mazda MX5 buyers who visit the website.

I recently had my Mk1s' clutch replaced by Chris. His expertise and knowledge of the marque is exceptional and the friendly helpful approach of both Chris and Karen is outstanding. Highly recommended.

Saw blue Mazda MX5 for sale. Went to look to find unprepared car. But took for spin felt and looked great. I was met with a level of expertise totally unexpected. Friendly informative couldn’t be more honest or helpful. Unfortunately didn’t buy but would happily go back with my mx5 for any future work

I am a new customer to Kent MX5, having just completed my 2nd visit. Chris is an excellent engineer, what he doesn't know about the 5 probably isn't worth knowing! He and Karen are warm and friendly and wholly focused on customer satisfaction. First visit was an engine service and the engine is running better now than any time in my 7 years of owning the car. Just completed a Torsen LSD upgrade...feels like a different car. Highly recommended!!

Once again Chris and Karen have done an absolutely amazing job smartening up the engine bay of my Eunos Roadster.
Chris and Karen identified components that would benefit from Vapour Blasting and carried out the work to an exceptionally high standard.

Chris carried out an engine transplant for me. His work is excellent, and his attitude is wonderful.

I took my Mk3 in for lowering springs and a geometry set up. It's completely transformed the car and she now handles far better than before. Chris has an amazing knowledge of all things MX5, both road and race, and always ensures a top quality job is carried out. Cant recommend highly enough!

Chris Dawkins has been my Race Engineer for 4 seasons now (that's me No80 lurking behind as the background picture)we have had our ups and downs (Podiums and crashes) as a team but I have never missed a race, Chris and the Team have always got me out with the best setup for the conditions and track configuration. and without doubt Chris builds the best Mazda engines on the Championship and Supercup grids, Drivers who run with other Teams come to Chris for their engines, and he is the genuine Yoda of the Paddock, if you have a Mazda MX5 Road, Track Day or Race you wont go wrong if you bring it to Chris.

after trying several different garages with my 94 Eunos roadster and leaving them feeling disappointed i decided to give Chris at Kent Mx5 the car to do some minor work and was very pleased, so much so that in the last year i have had Chris carry out a major service, replacing the cambelt, water pump, all belts, brand new hoses, clutch, coilovers and 4 wheel alignment and have got more planned for 2018!

Excellent- my mk 3 MX5 was in need of a four wheel alignment. I felt I needed to find someone who knew how to set these cars up correctly and not just rely on Mazda's wide tolerances. Chris at mx5 Services is your man. He set up the car perfectly and was a gentleman to deal with. Definitely worth the drive to Goudhurst.

Just has a 4 wheel suspension set up done on my MK3 MX5 and it has transformed the drive! Great service!!

totally professional outfit with customer satisfaction as the highest priority.
Chris rebuilt my blown engine and added an MP62 supercharger and and air to air intercooler , the result is a very healthy 211bhp. At the same time he also changed all the suspension and power train
bushes and gave the car a nice responsive chassis set up. Always pro active ,giving good advice and keeping an eye on the cost , very satisfied and have no hesitation in recommending Kent MX5. -
Took my mk2.5 1.8 SVT to chris for a full service, cambelt change and waterpump change. I also had my alignment done whilst there. An excellent job on everything the car now drives sweet and handles
lovely. Very good service and very helpful advice and reasonable price too. Very happy with the car now thanks chris! -

Great attention to detail and Chris explains all the technical bits and advises on options and settings. Chris takes the time necessary to do careful and complete work, at very competitive
